 Strong interest in working with people of varying backgrounds and abilities.
Safety conscious and good judgment.
Basic knowledge and skills of trip or clinic activity.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
Solid "people skills," ability to interact with and provide guidance to participants in a professional manner.
CPR and First Aid certified.
Follow all prescribed rules and policies in volunteer information packet.
Complete a volunteer application form and registration form.
Attend volunteer orientation and one activity clinic in area of your specific interest.
Provide support while on trip or clinic for participants who may need additional help.
Assist in making appropriate modifications for participants if needed.
Assist with equipment prior to, during and at the end of trip or clinic.
Ensure participant safety while on trip or clinic.
Help create a fun and successful learning experience for participants.
